Where to begin?
Last night, we met the One Direction of the Dominican Republic. And they stole our hearts with their amazing dance moves. AND, they love Jesus. So...bonus points. ;)
In the black shirt between Cassie & Olivia is Marcos...all of the ladies are currently fighting over who is going to marry him. He has a unibrow, but in Olivia's words "we can overcome that". His b-boy name is B-Boy Fresh.
Between Olivia & Jess is Harold. Harold is 19, speaks English, and was our source of communication between the groups.
Next to Taylor & Josh is Carlos. Carlos has DR swagggg & knew some English. His dance style is a mix between martial arts & gymnastics, and he's crazy talented.
Jess got a marriage proposal, but Olivia offered to accept on her behalf. However, Betsy beat her to it. This probably wouldn't have happened if her boyfriend had just left her a blog comment like he promised.
DISCLAIMER: No one actually was proposed to, but the girls pictured above have all been gushing about their new friends since we arrived home last night.
UT-OH...........Look out Mom's of the girls! They may not return to the U.S.A.! ! !

Seriously, I am so proud of all the work you all are putting into this mission, while smiling your hearts out...but how could you not with that huge Smile of Cassie's everywhere you go?!

I think God sent this heat to remind us to pray for you all...:-). I haven't checked today's heat index, but yesterday it was hotter here than in the DR!!!

Betsy's Boyfrend DID leave a blog post but is not shocked that she clearly ignored it and went and found herself a Dominican Boyfriend anyway....

He has accepted that fact and moved on.
This mom isn't worried Jess would rather spend 15.00 on shopping than on a marriage license LOL.
