The pictures are wonderful! Keep them coming! I was relieved to see my Liv's face after a few days! Thought maybe she was driving you guys nuts and you decided to leave her at the airport! lol! Liv, I love you and miss you... To all of you, you are amazing Children of the most High God, doing what HE has called you, all of us to do....Serve, the least of these. I know how I feel when I look at these pictures and think of you all, my heart gets stuck in my throat with emotion, tears come to my eyes, a HUGE smile comes to my face! Imagine Jesus looking down on you, imagine how he feels....seeing you do what you were created for....knowing His purpose is being fulfilled through you. Believing in Him, serving Him and telling other nations of his amazing love. You are in the home stretch now. Give it all you've got!! I can see Jesus brightly shining through all of you! As you are serving others, you are beholding the glory of The Lord. You are a blessing to all of us back home! I sense The Lord saying to this team, "Well done, my good and faithful servant."
Yeah for seeing my Morgan.....we check every day several times a day just to see your beautiful smiling face! We miss you girl, but are so proud of what you are doing, why you choose to go knowing that God will use this to impact your life in a great way. Keep shining for Jesus! Love you, Mom
Gracie, I can honestly say I've never seen you look more beautiful. Serving Jesus fills us with joy and peace and the contentment that comes with fulfilling His perfect will! I can see Him shining through you!
We are AMAZED at all the team is accomplishing not only this week in the DR, but also for all eternity. Praying for all of you several times a day. Team, I pray the Lord gives you a vision of the GENERATIONS He will save and bless through your obedience and service. For Christ, you are touching lives in the present and changing them for forever...
Here's a Scripture I read today for the team: "For it is God who works in you to will and to act according to His good purpose. (It doesn't look like any of you are complaining or arguing ;) ... so that you may become blameless and pure children of God without fault in a crooked and depraved generation, in which you SHINE like stars in the universe as YOU HOLD OUT THE WORD OF LIFE." Philippians 2:13-16 (commentary and emphasis mine)
On every picture posted, I see our beautiful young people who are shining because of their love and service to our King... youth who do stand apart from their generational peers. Through work-days painting, blessing precious children with a VBS they won't soon forget, and powerful street ministry you are "holding out" the Word of Life! We rejoice with you! Miss you all!
