During our afternoon break some of our students were hanging out at the playground located here at our camp. Elyssa Pedrazza took a hard fall of a seesaw. She landed on her right hand and wrist. She had lots of pain, immediate swelling, a large bump at the point of impact and no ability to move several fingers.
We have a registered nurse on our team. She examined her arm and assessed that X Rays were needed. We made plans to visit a local hospital. Our team prayed for Elyssa during our lunch break. After lunch were getting ready to leave for the hospital. Her arm and wrist were still in much pain. It had been about 30 minutes since her fall.
We decided to pray one more time before we left. Maybe it was that simple act of faith to pray again, but Gods presence filled our cafeteria in an amazing way.
As we laid hands on Elyssa once again God healed her completely. The nurse examined her again following our prayer. No pain. No swelling. No large bump on her arm. Full movement of the arm and fingers!!!!!
We're thanking God for His presence and healing power!!! We had several of our leaders praying for about an hour last night for healing power to touch people on our team. God still answers prayer!!!
Needless to say we canceled our trip to the hospital. :)
This is an amazingly awesome act of God. Praise Him!

ReplyDelete4 Surely he took up our infirmities and carried our sorrows, yet we considered him stricken by God, smitten by him, and afflicted. 5 But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon him, and by his wounds we are healed. Isaiah 53:4-5
Praise Him, the Great Healer, Provider, Sovereign Lord! All Honor, Glory and Power to Him on the Throne!
