Were on the bus on our way to a brand new ministry location. Today we will minster to mostly Haitian children and paint a Haitian church. We need more blog comments. Danielle Amato let's step it up. :)
Morgan and all the DR team....I am loving following along on your daily adventure! Last year, I know the team endured a hurricane while in the DR. This morning, we are experiencing minor rain from the first Atlantic hurricane of the season named Arthur. It is such a blessing to see the beautiful days the Lord has laid before you while in the DR. You prayed for this, you gave for this and your are going....praising the Lord for your willing hearts and hands. Much love....Momma Wit
It is such a blessing to see the young people of GT serve the Lord in this capacity. To show the love of Christ and walking the walk. Have been praying for you guys everyday! I can't wait to hear the testimonies of how the Lord touched your lives by serving others!
Blessing to each of you. Appreciate that has we celebrate freedom, you are sharing true freedom that comes from Jesus Christ with those in the DR. We missing you but are do proud of what you each are doing
Hey DR Team.. This morning I was reading Colossians and this verse really stuck out to me about YOU and your team. What you are doing right now.
Colossians 3:17. And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.
You are in another country touching lives for the Glory and in the name of Jesus Christ. The deeds you are doing, painting homes for people of God, teaching kids about God through VBS, Praying with them, and working and praying together are all bringing Glory to Jesus. Stay tight with one another, don't let any struggles come between you, remember you the body of Christ.
Your church family Loves each and every one of you, leaders and students alike. We are praying back here for you to be used mightily by God and we appreciate so much the pictures and words on the blog to see a glimpse of what is happening down there. Stay focused and stay strong.. Love you all.
Hey Real Life Kiddos, I am really enjoying seeing all your happy faces serving the Lord. I have been sharing as many pictures possible. I know there are a lot of people who supported you, loved on you and are now praying for you that want to see your smiley faces. :)
It brings me so much joy to see you all serving the LORD. What a difference you are making in families lives. They see Jesus in you with every stroke of the paint brush, every smile, every pat on the back. I am so proud of each one of you.
My family and I have been praying for you. Actually, I have been praying for you numerous times through out the day. I pray for daily wisdom, strength and discernment. I know at times you are hot and tired. I know at times you feel irritable, lonely and exhausted. I am praying for these moments.I pray you feel His presence. You are loved. I also know how great you will feel with the sense of accomplishment and doing something for others. That feeling of giving to someone selflessly is amazing. I am so proud of each of you and am looking forward to seeing God's future plans for you.
I leave you with these words from Paul in I Corinthians 1:3-7
Grace be unto you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ. I thank my God always on your behalf, for the grace of God which is given you by Jesus Christ; That in every thing ye are enriched by him, in all utterance, and in all knowledge; Even as the testimony of Christ was confirmed in you: So that ye come behind in no gift; waiting for the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ
Have a blessed and amazing day all! Love all the pictures! Lily and Elysa want to tell Jazzy that they love her very much!!! Lily says she wore your shoes and still loves ya! Hope you all are amazingly blessed today and God shines through you all!!

Happy 4th of July everyone! I am literally checking for updates, like constantly. The pictures are amazing! They are like a lifeline for us Mamas! We NEED...ok want, to see the faces of our loved ones to know that they are ok. We are all extremely proud parents of the amazing kids and young adults (and HUSBANDS) that went on this trip. (oh and the resident Mom...Miss Amy!)
I'm praying for health and strength for everyone. There are SO many projects and activities going on in the natural and I'm so proud of each of you for the amount of energy, time and heart you are putting in them! GOD is at work in the SUPERNATURAL too! There are battles being won! There are lives being touched. There are still souls that need to be won for the kingdom.
Isaiah 40: 30-31 popped into my mind today so I thought I'd add it here! …30Though youths grow weary and tired, And vigorous young men stumble badly, 31Yet those who wait for the LORD Will gain new strength; They will mount up with wings like eagles, They will run and not get tired, They will walk and not become weary. Ok so the teacher in me wanted to look up the Matthew Henry commentary on these verses. SO I did. Commentary Below: The people of God are reproved for their unbelief and distrust of God. Let them remember they took the names Jacob and Israel, from one who found God faithful to him in all his straits. And they bore these names as a people in covenant with Him. Many foolish frets, and foolish fears, would vanish before inquiry into the causes. It is bad to have evil thoughts rise in our minds, but worse to turn them into evil words. What they had known, and had heard, was sufficient to silence all these fears and distrusts. Where God had begun the work of grace, he will perfect it. He will help those who, in humble dependence on him, help themselves. As the day, so shall the strength be. In the strength of Divine grace their souls shall ascend above the world. They shall run the way of God's commandments cheerfully. Let us watch against unbelief, pride, and self-confidence. If we go forth in our own strength, we shall faint, and utterly fall; but having our hearts and our hopes in heaven, we shall be carried above all difficulties, and be enabled to lay hold of the prize of our high calling in Christ Jesus. Ok, final Mama Julie comments: You are all totes adorbs! Girls, You look cute with your hair up and no make up--great look. Guys, you look strongest when you are serving others, praying for each other and relying on God for strength. Girls, you are women of God who know your purpose...to serve and follow Jesus every day of your life. Guys, you are men of God who follow hard after righteousness! ALL my love to each of you but especially my small group girls, my favorite boy in the whole world, CALEB and to the mighty man of God I call my precious husband and best friend, Eran!
Hey Everyone! We're so proud of all of you! I love seeing the pictures of all your beautiful, smiling faces as you serve the Lord. Let your light shine brighter as each day goes by. We're praying for supernatural strength for each of you. Let this be your battle cry… "So let’s not allow ourselves to get fatigued doing good. At the right time we will harvest a good crop if we don’t give up, or quit. Right now, therefore, every time we get the chance, let us work for the benefit of all, starting with the people closest to us in the community of faith." Galatians 6:9-10The Message (MSG). The last part is my favorite, "starting with the people closest to us", that's your teammates and leaders. I'm praying that Christ's spirit of UNITY would flood your hearts. Please keep your eyes on Jesus and on what you are doing and most importantly, WHY you are doing it! You are called to be salt and light in the world. Please don't let the devil win by allowing the little petty things steal your joy and the work that God has sent you to do. Serve and love one another because that will be the very thing that the people of DR will notice about you, above everything else you are doing. It's the way you LOVE one another. Jesus said, in Matt 13:34, “A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.” We love and miss you guys so much! I don’t think we’ve ever obsessed so much over our computer or phone. We’re constantly checking for more pics and more updates. It might have something to do with our baby boy being there (Jimmy- dads even worse then me. I’ve caught him teary eyed in his office on a few occasions just staring at your pic. He’s so proud of you!) in addition to so many of you that I have watched grow up into such incredibly amazing young men and women. I keep reminding myself that the best is yet to come! You’re going to set this world on fire for the cause of Christ! Look out world…here they come! Love and prayers, Christine Kreisher (aka-Mom to Shmugs!)
Hi Real life DR Team, though most of you have never met me (I am Camdyn Axe's Paternal Grandmom),know that Cammy's family (and thier Churches)are praying for you and send our love in Christ!.......We are so thrilled to see all your glowing faces,as you share Christ, in both Spiritual and tangible ways,as we too are wearing out the internet checking for your updates,We continue to Pray for you ,and those your lives are touching.....as stated in the previous comments we have become emotiona,l at the mere thought of what a blessing it is, to see not only our loved one,but all of you fighting the Good Fight of true freedom......Keep on letting your light so shine, wherever your spiritually beautiful feet trod,......We love you!...Meemaw Smith
I'm really enjoying your every step. Every time I see your pics I get emotional first, because I miss my baby--Nicole- and second because I rejoice at the thoughts of how much each and everyone of you are blessing those children and just loving on them. I know that you will never forget this moment and that you will never be the same. Isaiah 52:7 says- how beautiful on the mountains are the feet of those who bring good news, who proclaim peace, who bring good tidings, who proclaim salvation, who say to Zion, "your God reigns!" That is exactly what you are doing in DR--keep sharing the good news, keep proclaiming peace, keep bringing good tidings, keep proclaiming salvation and keep sharing that our God reigns! Many blessings to all and a special blessing to pastor
