Last night, we went out to the Rails (the community that we painted in) and participated in 2 "cell group" meetings...basically street meeting Bible studies. Debbie started them a few weeks ago and has been challenging the people (mostly new believers) to memorize Scripture and read their Bibles. We got to celebrate 5 people (including little children) who memorized John 3:16! It was a cool moment.
Almost the entire team got to share their testimonies yesterday...and everyone did a great job! The kids are just AWESOME in the dramas. Steve, PE, and I all are so proud of the ownership they've taken of them and how well they are performing and giving the glory to Jesus! Cassie brought an awesome message last night as well, and we're all so proud of her confidence and ability to step up and preach the Word.
This morning, we spent an hour with the kids who attend school here at La Vega Christian school and got to do two dramas, Olivia taught a children's lesson, Keila and Josh gave their testimonies, and we made salvation bracelets with the kids.
We're about to head to the mountains to go swimming in a waterfall (yay!) and then do some shopping...after a couple of full days of ministry (and a few more coming up), we're excited to have a "free" afternoon.
